As an independent asset manager specialized in convertible bonds, Mirante Fund Management offers real added value through its experience in the financial markets. Its activity has been growing in many other asset classes over the years.
MFM is committed to provide a tailor-made and specialized range of solutions in order to identify and fulfill the needs of its institutional clients to achieve their objectives together.
Our goal is to develop and maintain long-term relationships based on cooperation and transparency.

And it all started here, when Joe Mirante launches his first public MFM Global Convertible Bonds fund.
February
2008
Opening of a branch in Zürich to provide coverage and service to the German-speaking part of Europe.

2008
The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) has given to MFM Mirante Fund Management the new status of "Asset Manager".

2008
After the financial market collapse, the company launched a fund mainly based on the yield and credit aspects of convertible bonds, the MFM Convertible Bond Opportunities fund.

2009
The 2009 Lipper prize was awarded on the basis of combined performance between 2006 and 2008, one of the most difficult periods for the financial markets. Our fund was considered the most defensive convertible fund in this difficult environment.

2013
The company wins its second Lipper Award based on its ability to generate constant performance in volatile market environments.

2014
MFM Mirante Fund Management opted for a new custodian bank, Pictet SA, and a new fund administrator, FundPartner Solutions SA.

A new fund, the MFM Global Thematic Long/Short has been launched and has a multi-thematic long/short equity strategy.

All MFM FUND’s Swiss funds were transferred to a new SICAV in Luxembourg, MFM Funds (Lux).

Creation of MFM Wealth Management SA. Launch of funds for private clients (MFM Adagio, MFM Allegro, MFM Andante)

The MFM Malta branch is established.

Launch of 4 global strategies (MFM Global Fixed Income, MFM Global Equity, MFM Global Real Estate Securities Fund, MFM Global Alternative Strategies Fund).

MFM expands the surface area of its head office located in Lausanne to deliver a high-quality customer experience in a warm and contemporary environment.

Launch of our MFM Global Sustainable Bonds which provides investors exposure to sustainable investment opportunities without giving up on returns and credit quality.

MFM Mirante Fund Management has relaunched Jabre Capital’s long/short European credit opportunities.

Merger by absorption of MFM Mirante Fund Management SA with MFM Wealth Management SA in order to definitely bring our two teams closer together.
Awards And recognition
Mirante Fund Management received the Lipper award for the best convertible fund in 2009 and 2013.
The Lipper prize in 2009 was awarded on the basis of combined performance between 2006 and 2008, one of the most difficult periods for the financial markets.
The 2013 Lipper Award was bestowed to MFM on the basis of its ability to generate consistent performance in varying market environments.
We were also awarded for the excellence of our risk management in the alternative category "Long / Short Equity - Global", with the UCITS Hedge Award 2019
This award from "The Hedge Fund Journal", highlight the outperformance of the fund "MFM Global Thematic Long / Short" over a period of 3 years.
The "Best Fixed Income Debt Security Fund" was accorded in April 2019 in the Global Convertible Bonds category over the last fifteen years.
We also received the "Best Independent Asset Management Company Award" in Switzerland. Both were given by the magazine "Wealth & Finance" which highlight the key players and innovators who have gone above and beyond in this highly competitive sector.
MFM Mirante Fund Management awarded twice at the 8th annual WealthBriefing Swiss External Asset Managers Awards, the wealth management department is very delighted to have been crowned in the following categories "Best investment process in Switzerland" and "Best asset management boutique based in Vaud" at the WealthBriefing Swiss EAM Awards 2021.
